Sign-ups Now Open For Evolve's PC Alpha!

Wanna go Monster hunting ?

Sign-ups are now available for an upcoming alpha test (PC ONLY!) of cooperative monster-hunting shooter Evolve, developer Turtle Rock announced today. Fill out the form for Evolve's PC alpha test at the game's official site to get a spot.

The required referral ID and Password have been revealed by Turtle Rock's community manager Jess Damerst on twitter. The password required is "happyhunting," along with a referral ID "JoinTheHunt". Although, we won't have the opportunity to tag along here in Nigeria because, you need to be a resident of the U.S. or Canada and have a Steam account to participate... huge bummer!

Also, an attached promotional image states that participants should not disclose details of the alpha, and that the studio is aiming to have the participant list finalized by this Saturday, July 5.

Evolve has a lot of positive buzz surrounding it, having just won the top prize from the E3 Game Critics Awards, including Best of Show. The game pits a team of four players playing as humans against one player who assumes the role of a monster that evolves throughout the course of a match.

Turtle Rock is planning to release an Xbox One open beta as well, due to an exclusivity deal with Microsoft that also includes first access to DLC.

So guys, do you think they should have extended it to console gamers and also opened it up internationaly? Be sure to leave your comments below...
