CALL OF DUTY: ADVANCED WARFARE NOT COMING TO WII U

Sledgehammer Games' upcoming installment in the Call of Duty franchise will not release on the Wii U this fall, a Sledgehammer co-founder said on Twitter.

The Wii U console, which had a couple of Call Of Duty titles including the last two games which were Ghosts & Black Ops II will unfortunately not be seeing the Advanced warfare title. Rather it's fellow last-gen counterparts will have the privilege to experience this awesome realease, as High Moon Studios is focusing on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 while Sledgehammer is developing the game for the three next-gen platforms; Xbox One, PS4, and PC.

Advanced Warfare is the first game in the series to be released following the switch to a three-year development cycle, which Activision said gives the developers more time to enhance quality and designers more time to envision and to innovate."
