GRAND THEFT AUTO 5 SELLS OVER 34 MILLION COPIES


Grand Theft Auto V continues to break sales milestones for Take-Two Interactive, with the company announcing that its sold over 34 millions copies of the open-world game.

During the Take-Two earnings call for the first quarter of fiscal 2015, Strauss Zelnick, chairman and CEO of the company, updated the sales numbers for Grand Theft Auto V. He confirmed the open-world game has surpassed 34 millions units sold, which equals a 1 million unit increase over the past quarter.


Take-Two also expects that number to grow as Grand Theft Auto V comes out on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One this fall. For more on the Rockstar-developed title, be sure to stay with YGN.
