iOS and Android games are coming to Playstation Vita & TV


Sony has just made it easier for loads of game creators to port their mobile games to the PS Vita & Playstation TV platforms with the launch of the official version of its "Unity" for PlayStation Mobile development software.

The Unity development software; announced earlier this year as a public preview, will allow developers to easily port their games created for the iPhone, iPad, and Android platforms, Unity also gives them the ability to easily create games that utilize the PlayStation Vita's dual-analog sticks and rear touchpad. As part of the PlayStation Mobile program, creators are able to distribute their games through the PlayStation Store.

Also, developers that are part of the Playstation Mobile Developer Program can publish their games to the PS Store free of charge, and this version of PlayStation Mobile works with both the free version of Unity as well as Unity Pro... continue to (read + photos)


 President of Sony World Wide Studios Shuhei Yoshida, recently revealed that fewer first-party games will be coming to Sony's handheld. He also believes that the newly announced "Playstation Now streaming service" which allows Playstation owners to rent games, will help create a great array of games for the Vita.

Originally released in Japan, PlayStation TV is heading to North America, as well as European and PAL marketsAnd this is good news for us here in Nigeria. Thus, like I always say, "if you're good with shipping", PlayStation TV is currently available for pre-order through Amazon for $100 USD.
