YOU CAN NOW PRE-LOAD GAMES ON PS4!
It begins this week with Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark...
According to Sony's announcement, Playstation 4 owners will now be able to Pre-order & Pre-load upcoming PS4 games. Starting with "Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark" this week. Also, according to the announcement, not just Transformers, but all other nine games announced for pre-order during E3 last week are eligible for the pre-load feature.
The other eligible games include; Battlefield Hardline (and its Deluxe Edition), Bloodborne, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, Destiny, Dragon Age: Inquisition (and Deluxe), Far Cry 4, Infamous First Light, Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare, LittleBigPlanet 3, Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor, The Order: 1886, and Uncharted 4: A Thief's End.
Sony's Distribution manager, "Chieh Chen" explained further:
Automatic pre-load on PS4 allows you to download pre-ordered games before the release date, so you can get into your games after they’re released faster than ever. We all know that some of the biggest games can take a while to download, and with the pre-load functionality, you’ll be able to download and install... continue to (read + photos)
those huge files up to several days in advance. And don’t worry if you forget: any titles you’ve pre-ordered will be automatically pre-loaded and auto-downloaded to your PS4 system by default. All you have to do is pre-order the game, make sure your PS4 remains in standby mode, and sit back and relax.
