Michael Thommason, Owner of the world's largest video game collection, has just parted ways with his collection after receiving a whooping sum of $750,250 from "peeps_10091970" the winner of Michael's Collection (whose Identity is still unknown).
According to an update on GameGavel, Thomasson put up his collection of over 11,000 games earlier this month following his recognition by World Record association Guinness late last year.
The auction enticed over 50 bids, with two punters in particular duking it out in the final hours. "Oculus Rift inventor" Palmer Luckey even put in two bids at one stage, though he bowed out of the race just after it hit six figures.
